Delete your account and data

This page is for OvaReset, the app by Zeeshan Waheed on the App Store and Google Play. You can delete your account and data at any time, for free.

Delete in the app

1. Open OvaReset and tap Me.
2. Under Privacy and data, tap Delete my account.
3. Tap Delete my account, then Delete to confirm.

This deletes your account and the data linked to it on our servers, and everything OvaReset saved on your phone. Want a copy first? Tap Download my data in Me, then Privacy and data.

Never signed in? Then everything is on your phone. Under Privacy and data, tap Delete my data, then Delete.

Deleting the app removes the data on your phone, but it doesn’t delete your account.

Ask us to delete your account

No longer have the app? Contact us from the email address you use with OvaReset, using the details in Contact us, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may confirm the request by writing to the email address on your account. We will tell you by email once it’s done.

Leave the waitlist

Use the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or contact us with the subject “Remove me from the waitlist”. We will delete your waitlist details.

What we delete

On our servers

• Your account: your email address and your Apple or Google account ID
• Your sign-in sessions and the choices you made in the app, such as your consent
• Your daily coach counts and your Plus status
• Your subscription record at RevenueCat, our subscription provider
• If you signed in with Apple, OvaReset’s access to your Apple sign-in
• Your locked backup, if you turned backup on

On your phone

• Your plan, logs, reports, medicines, coach messages, meal photos and reminders

Our servers never keep your logs, coach messages or meal photos, except inside your locked backup if you turned it on, which is deleted with your account. Our AI provider, Anthropic, deletes coach messages and photos within 30 days on its own.

What we keep

• A scrambled copy of your email address and the date, for 2 years, so we can show that we deleted your account. We can only use it to check that an account with that email address was deleted.
• Coach answers you reported, for up to 90 days. They aren’t linked to your account.
• Records the law requires us to keep, such as tax records, for as long as the law requires.

Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases, under their privacy policies.

How long it takes

In the app, your account is deleted straight away, and copies in our database backups are gone within 30 days. If you ask us by email, we delete your account within 30 days of confirming your request.

Your subscription

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play settings, so you aren’t charged again.
